Visually and functionally inspect aircraft seats and components during all phases of manufacturing accomplished in other Brice departments. The Inspector is responsible to work in a safe manner eliminating waste and delivering a quality product on time. Determine aircraft seat worthiness and return the seat to service in accordance with directives and FAA regulations. Perform work within budgeted time within Brice, FAA, and our customers' standards of quality.
JOB DUTIES:
ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Approve individually the completeness, correctness and quality of all work performed including accomplishment of technical orders and engineering order requirements. 2. Inspect modifications and/or repairs for safety, workmanship and serviceability. 3. Reject all work which does not meet manufacturers specifications, company or FAA regulations and report such rejections to the Inspection Lead. 4. Inspect and/or conduct final operational checkouts and troubleshooting of aircraft seat systems. 5. Maintain necessary records as required. 6. Sign off aircraft seat as structurally and functionally complete. 7. Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the TIMCO Brice Safety Manual. 8. Constant awareness of aircraft seat delivery requirements to ensure aircraft seats are delivered in a timely manner, but not jeopardizing quality or craftsmanship worthiness requirements.

MINIMUM: 1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2. Two (2) or more years of experience as a technician and/or inspector in a commercial aircraft environment, or previous demonstrated ability with TIMCO Brice. 3. Capable of interpreting drawings, blueprints, service bulletins, ads and any other related documents as required. 4. Ability to communicate effectively on all levels within the organization. 5. Be self-motivated with the ability to respond to urgency in a timely manner. 6. Bilingual in Spanish preferred 7. Read, write, and understand the English language.
